MIAA-update. If you haven't heard our longstanding Vice President Tim Jackson has stepped down as VP. MIAA would like to express our thanks to Tim for all his hard work and support he has provided this association for the past years. At the same time, we are please to announce John Whalen, a former game warden for the State of ME, will be stepping in as VP of MIAA. Welcome John!

MIAA needs a full time Secretary. This position is very important to the association and an integral part of what makes a good association. Anyone interested please contact our president Jim Nicholas @ 924-5082.

Membership: Renewal for the 2005 are due now, cost is still $5.00 each. First time memberships include an MIAA patch. Business memberships are still $25.00 each. Please get those memberships in the mail. MIAA needs your support and membership.

2005 Ice Fishing Derbies. Ice Fishing derbies are being held in every region across the State of ME in the coming months. Each derby being held is unique to the region in which it is being held. MIAA encourages everyone to get out and enjoy some local derbies, which in turn help support the local economies. For a list of these derbies we encourage you to check out the DIF&W's website.
